Executive Principal

Suzanne Rees is a highly qualified teacher and educator with over 30 years' experience in varying cultures.

She initially qualified as a teacher at the University of Reading, UK then later gained a Diploma in French, a Certificate in English as a Foreign Language and additional diplomas from Bristol and Queensland Universities.

She was governess to the Royal family in Jordan and has held senior positions, including Head of French at Rashid School in Dubai, Head of French at Scotch College, Melbourne, Teacher at the Sydney English Language Centre, and Principal at Magill Language College in Gosford.

 
Executive Officer

Executive Officer, Graham Rees is a Certified Practising Accountant.

He has a background in management, merchant banking and corporate development within Australia and overseas. He shares responsibility with his sister Suzanne, for the development of the Franchise network in Australia (excluding WA).

 
National Training Advisor - Australia (excluding W.A)

 

Amanda Jefferys brings a wealth of experience as a long-standing Helen O'Grady Franchisee to her current role within the network as the National Training Advisor (excluding W.A). This role sees Amanda training new franchisees in the teaching and implementation of curriculum, enriching existing Principals' skills and supporting them in their classroom practices.

Amanda established her own Central Coast Helen O'Grady franchise in 1992 and enjoyed much success building up recognition of the Academy and creating a solid reputation for delivering the personal development skills that the Academy promotes. This experience, and that of training her own Academy staff, provide her with the opportunity to mentor and impart knowledge and skills from a first-hand perspective.

Before joining the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy team Amanda enjoyed teaching music and drama as a qualified primary school teacher in both Australia and the UK.
